Thanks Carol! I thought Larsen and Rodin looked pretty good. Wouldn't mind Skille as the 13th forward.

Granlund looks solid as well. He certainly was more noticeable than Shink. I also liked Labate playing with an edge

Larsen was getting his shot through to the net... Maybe him and Stecher should give Tanev and Edler some lessons... Or better yet trade Tanev for a top six forward and d prospect OR 2017 pick that gets used top pick a dman...

Watching Tanev on the power play is horrible. Keep him away from the PP at all costs

He has a slight edge due to the World Cup.

I like a suggested defense of

Edler-Stetcher
Hutton-Gud
Tryamkin-Tanev

NO labeling a specific top pairing. Edler/Stetch getting primarily offensive zone starts with tanev/try getting defensiviv and then hutton/gud getting both(would kinda make them more of a pseudo 1st line) for the first couple games. If it works roll with it, if not send Stetcher down and go back to normal lineups.

Rodin and Gaunce should get a few more looks from Nucks staff, Jake V should spend the year in Utica to learn how to be a pro and get top minutes to accomadate these two. Good problems at D unlike last year. I wish they could bury Dorset and his aptitude for taking penalty's and just plain sucking. Doug Jarvis was one of the best special team players of all time and I look to him shaping that end of the ice.

many are expecting some sort of trade, it would be a big gamble trading Tanev and rotating guys like Larsen, Stecher, and Tryamkin in on the right side. Injuries happen and we could be in trouble, but we'd likely be in trouble trade or no trade.

As WD said, I hope the players show well and force him to make some difficult decisions.

I agree it is big decision. It is something to start tinkering with.It first of all would need to be a significant return.

I want the best players to be playing and not being sent down because of waiver exempt .

Gaunce lloked good and so did LeBate.

Tanev/Etem/3rd to NYI
Hamonic to the Jets
Trouba to the Nux

Sbisa/conditional pick for Reider

If those deals wer possible I would do it, but I think it is a bit of an overpayment by a 3rd for Trouba. Tanev + Etem and maybe a 5th.
